Steve Crossley

Director

Steve founded and has grown SJC Partners, a professional services focused executive search and senior appointment recruitment business. Steve launched SJC with private equity investment and subsequently led the buyout of the original PE investors. Steve is a founding Director of Market Mapping and manages the day to day operations as Managing Director.

Tony Ford

Director

Tony has founded, grown, and exited multiple businesses with directorship experience across corporate finance, financial services, technology and business services. Tony founded Ford Campbell Corporate Finance and co-founded accountancy firm Ford Campbell Freedman, Reliance Software and Love Energy Savings. He has also held a number of non-executive directorships at businesses such as CVS (Commercial Valuers and Surveyers) and Altus Group. Tony founded K3 Capital Group plc, of which he remains Executive Vice Chairman.

John Rigby

Director

John is CEO of K3 Capital Group plc, a major multi-disciplinary professional services company serving SME businesses across the UK with a market cap of £250m+. John has led K3 Capital Group plc through impressive growth sustained over many years, both organically and via acquisition. As an ex commercial and corporate banker, John has a breadth of funding, deal structuring and operational leadership experience.

Phil Johnston

Director

In his role in Market Mapping, Phil draws on extensive experience as a founder/investor in a number of businesses. He exited his first business in the year 2000, and led its continued growth internationally, mainly in the US, in a senior role within an AIM-listed PLC. He went on to invest in, acquire and exit a number of other UK software businesses. Phil has also acted as an advisor on growth strategy and acquisition plans for a number of SME's across a broad range of sectors.

Mounisa Boutouil

Research Executive

Mounisa specialises in sourcing and analysing acquisition targets, assessing the extent to which potential targets match our client’s preferred search criteria. Mounisa creates a bespoke, accurate shortlist of targets using a variety of research tools, personally reviewing each business before providing commentary and financial information on each researched company.

Carina Walsh

Director

Carina is a highly experienced Executive, having founded and subsequently scaled a leading retail and events business, earning her the Scottish Edge Award for growing “A World Class Business”. Additionally, Carina has held senior appointments across asset management, asset investment and real estate, including her role as Commercial Director of Sandstone Asset Management, a business with £500m of assets under management.

Marcia Burns

M&A Research Director

Marcia has an extensive background in M&A, having worked in an M&A boutique and more recently within a large M&A firm. Her experience is both in research and facilitating sell-side transactions - from liaising with potential buyers, negotiating offers and progressing deals through to due diligence. Marcia is M&A Research Director and manages the Research Team at Market Mapping Limited.

Craig Wallace

Partnerships Lead

Craig leads Market Mapping’s market facing activity, generating lasting partnerships with our acquisitive clients. Craig has extensive experience across partnership development, social media and marketing and plays an integral role in ensuring Market Mapping’s differentiated approach to off-market deal sourcing is known to those seeking to acquire.

Sara Daley

Research Executive

Sara is an experienced M&A Researcher and is responsible for researching and analysing companies, to ascertain if they represent an appropriate fit for Market Mapping’s acquisitive clients. Sara analyses financial and commercial information to create a shortlist of optimal acquisition targets, adopting a tailored and bespoke approach to each individual acquisition search.
